You've heard the old saying...
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
Well, in our world of successful marketing - it's wrong.
Why?
Because the antithesis of marketing success is letting any modicum of complacency creep in.
There is always more to do.
And building in redundancy is one of the most important tasks you can do in your marketing and sales process.
Few reasons why that is...
#1 - Your Processes Are Probably Less Bulletproof Than You Think
You should do everything in your power to strengthen them - and ensure each step of your funnels are as frictionless as can be.
You want prospects to glide seamlessly from step to step.
And never get hung up.
If they get hung up on a step, it either means they're:
- confused what to do next,
- don't care enough to take the next step, or
- aren't properly understood (needs, pains, dream outcome),
Keep iterating and innovating until you know them better than they know themselves.
That will remove the friction!

Things like:
- your marketing - funnels, copy, messaging,
- your salesprocess - lead qualification., scoring, closing,
- your delivery - ops, processes, SOPs,
... and much more.
Your priority here is to maintain & improve.
Maintain, so everything runs consistently as it should over time - just as well as it did the day you initiated it.
And improve, so you optimize the complete system and experience, ensuring it runs better and smoother over time.
Balance between both.
#3 - If You Won't, Your Competitors Will
Because do you really want to find out the hard way, that your competitors have been building what you *should have been* in private for 6 months?
And now they have the jump on you? Didn't think so.
Instead, stay vigilant.
This doesn't mean looking over your shoulder, or ahead trying to model and catch up to them.
Quite the contrary.
It means being so engrossed in improving your own marketing systems, positioning, customer attraction, fulfillment and more, so you can win BIG.
Leave them in the dust.
And never let yourself slide into complacency. |

It can be all too easy to get complacent.
Because hey, revenue is coming in, your margin is good enough, and you have the lifestyle freedom you want, right?
Wrong.
Marketing success (success in any endeavor) is seized at the edges. Not in the comfortable middle.
