First & Fifteenth - July 1st, 2023:
"Master the Value Ladder To Create
Cash Windfalls At Will"

Read Time: 5 Minutes

,

Welcome to July.

Bold statement for the new summer month:

Master the value ladder and you can create cash windfalls at will, any time you please.

This skill is one so many entrepreneurs learn the hard way.

It's vital to learn, first what your customers want - then, to give it to them.

I've seen countless entrepreneurs get caught up in ideas, cool product launches, or things they wanted to bring into the world.

It steers them wrong every time.

Instead of blindly guessing, or getting too overhyped in what you want to produce...

Keep your ear to the market. Then learn how to properly present your offers, one after the next - in a sensical flow.

Unfortunately, most expert or authority brands have no idea how to lead people through a funnel.

So, here are 3 of my best methods - each one will boost your revenue and LTV - by making it easy for your customers to progress through:

#1 - Map Out Your Full Product Flow Beforehand

Because creating it as you go is (unnecessarily) hard.

Why put extra stress on yourself? Don't wing it.

Instead, map every step a new prospect will take - from the moment they hit your site to the second they opt-in - and everything they're shown shortly afterward.

The order should not only make perfect sense to your prospects - it should solve one issue before the next.

Don't sell them laces before they buy shoes!

This leads perfectly into #2...

#2 - Start With the Low-Hanging Fruit & Standalone Problems

First off, It's always good to give people immense and tangible value up front.

Solve ONE pressing problem.

Something they're approaching you with, on the top of their mind.

Usually this looks like giving them secret insight, or industry knowledge for free (in a digestible format) in exchange for an email address.

Then, begin the sales process, offering more complete solutions than what you're giving away for free.

#3 - Ask For More Commitment, The More They Invest In You

Let's say a customer is buying everything you've got, one after another.

... you'd want to provide them with as much as you've got... right?!

Right.

The hottest they'll ever be to buy is, that's right, immediately after they just did.

So you should be prepared to offer followups to your core solutions, bonuses, up-sells, and other add-ons that support the first sale.

You can map out a value ladder that escalates to higher and higher price point sales, more engagement and support, or entirely different solutions altogether.

BONUS:

Once you hit some buying resistance on the price, you'll want to start following up
cleverly.

The point of this is threefold:

1) to cross-sell similarly-priced items to the ones they've purchased,
2) offer to continue your value-led relationship, and
3) to ramp up buying temperature for other similar solutions

Avoid These Mistakes:

Stop throwing everything at the customer as soon as they visit you.

I call this a "buffet business", and it's the antithesis of a well-organized, sensical customer value ladder.

Your goal is to escalate their purchases over time, provide more value for more money, and maximize LTV by creating a rapport with your customer.

Don't throw it all at them at once - it's overwhelming.

Lead them through a well-paced, mapped-out customer value ladder.

Tying It All Together:

As you provide offers that solve their problem, keep doing so - as quickly after the initial sale as possible - until you run out of offers to make.

Each one should offer even more value, solve more problems they're experiencing, and likely be more expensive than the last.

Figure out what your customers are struggling with. Then:

#1 - Map Out Your Full Product Flow Beforehand

#2 - Start With the Low-Hanging Fruit & Standalone Problems

#3 - Ask For More Commitment, The More They Invest In You

Move them to the next step, when they need more assistance or bigger answers.

Your One-Minute Takeaway:

Give your customers back what they give you.

In other words, reciprocate your offer value with their interest level.

More buying temperature? More products available.

More interest or desire for solutions? More solutions available.

More help needed from you? More  service available.

We've got solutions for that too. Our clients share things with us afterwards, like:

"Motive In Motion is my go-to team for all my Direct Response needs. They understands my market niche perfectly, and communicate with my audience on a personal level.

Their marketing campaigns have single-handedly brought me multiple six-figure sales from product launches, and made my email autoresponder a money-making machine! Try 'em out, you won't regret it."

-

"We'd tried a few email launches in the past, and our results with those strategies were mediocre - sometimes crickets! After implementingMotive In Motion's campaigns, we saw a soft-launch of around $35,670 in profit in just one week of launching.

At first, we were hesitant of a large brand investment, uncertain the ROI would be there. But there was a huge difference between what we invested and returns we saw. We learned so much and created evergreen assets that
continue to pay dividends and compound every subsequent month and year we continue to run this offer."
